Overall experience was good. Atmosphere, views and service was great. They have halal menu which is the best thing about this place Food was bit mild for us as We like spicy, flavorful food. Sauces were the savior! And samosas tasted the best

This place has great views from the roof top! Our food and drinks were good, we dodged not order much, just a few things to snack on to watch the sunset. However, our service could have been a lot better. We watched the bartender prepare our drinks after they sat at the bar for at least 5 minutes. Our food came out fast and incorrect but, it was a simple fix.

We came for a birthday to try South African food for the first time, and we LOVED it! Plus, there's a bird cage outside with a toucan and 2 parrots. Peri peri chicken: 4.5/5. This kind of reminded me of buffalo chicken but much better. It's so flavorful, especially with the sauce they give you. The rice pairs so well with the chicken too. Minus 0.5 points because certain parts of the chicken were pretty dry. Cape malay curry: 5/5. Super fresh seafood! It tastes even better when you use the side of sambals that go with it, and surprisingly the bananas were very tasty with it too! Very filling dish. Crusted rack of lamb: 1000/5. My favorite dish we ordered. The seasoning and the way this was cooked was just.... wow. If you love lamb, this is it!! My mouth is watering just thinking about this dish. Mozambique shrimp scampi: 3/5. Honestly, nothing special about this dish. It's not bad, but I recommend ordering other dishes! Banana pudding (complimentary birthday dessert): 1000/5. WOWWWWW. This was surprisingly so good?? We all loved this so much because it was not too sweet and so tasty. Service: We didn't know that the top floor was a rooftop open area, middle floor was a live music area, and bottom floor had different themed rooms. We went to the middle floor, where the server was super rude and unfriendly. We found the bottom floor later, where our server was very kind and patient. Overall, beautiful seating areas with super delicious food. What more could you ask for?

Such am awesome place with many choices. You can sit on the beautiful rooftop and watch the sunset, or go to the bottom floor where there is live pianist singing r&b. Second floor has live music bands. Check their website on the information of who is singing and when. In all, the ambience is great. Even greeted with some healthy birds and really nice decorations. Food was great too. Loved the starter sampler for two. Had a mixture of everything, and loved that the chicken came on top of a sliced pineapple that was so juicy. I also loved the grilled prawns. The mixed grill looked really good along with the chilean sea bass. I saw them being served to others and it looked amazing. Also had the burger, but it was too salty for me. The African mojito was good. Parking on the street can be hard, but they have valet for $10. Suggest to reserve ahead on their website.

Wow. Mozambique is not your typical steakhouse. I made a reservation here with my boyfriend for my birthday dinner as I read in the reviews that it is comparable to Mastro's and other fine-dining restaurants. There was valet parking (I believe it was $10 or $15 for 4 hours); the valet employee was very friendly! While walking to the entrance of this stunning restaurant, we were greeted by some beautiful birds, including a toucan. Because it was a Thursday evening, it wasn't too crowded and we got to sit on the roof. We first ordered the Seafood Ceviche ($25) as a starter, and we were absolutely blown away by the depth in flavor and textures. It was refreshing and plated beautifully. I would definitely recommend this to any ceviche lover. For the entree, we both initially wanted to order our own dishes. However, our server (shoutout to Justin) informed us that one portion is plenty for two people. We decided to just go with one order of the Mixed Grill ($65) and ended up being super glad that he warned us. The Mixed Grill came with a 6 oz. filet mignon, 2 chicken "pops" (they were more like skewers), 1 grilled tiger prawn, sausage, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and their house steak sauce. Everything on the plate packed a unique flavor due to the seasoning, spices, and sauces. My favorites were the filet mignon and chicken pops. I would love to come back to try different entrees! Lastly, what made this evening so special for us was the dessert that our server gave us on the house. The bread pudding was SO soft and delicious. The ice cream and berries were a nice addition, adding a fresh touch to the warm bread pudding. I hope to return soon, thank you so much for your customer care!
